The iRobot Roomba i3+ EVO is a fantastic robot vacuum that has a variety of innovative features that make it more easy to maintain than many competing models. The automatic bin emptying feature is one of the most useful features we've seen in a robotic vacuum. It works well on carpets and hard floors. The app walks you through the entire process. It is also easy to use and set up. Its ability to resume the same place it left off during our tests is another impressive feature. It did this for 77 minutes on one cleaning before the battery died.
In contrast to other robovacs we evaluated, the i3+ EVO has a self-emptying bin that dumps debris into an external dirt compartment on the base of its charging when it's filled. This reduces hands-on maintenance and also helps prevent the i3+ EVO from overfilling, however it must be manually emptied after every cleaning session. The i3+ EVO dustbin can hold 2.4L that is enough to last four to five cleaning sessions.
This model, like the i7, uses cutting-edge floor-tracking sensors that create maps. It also allows you to navigate through neat rows. The i3+ EVO can only keep one map, whereas the i7 can store multiple. The i7 is also able to utilize its map to create no-go zones and virtual barriers, however the i3+ EVO can't.
While the i3+ EVO is better in removing dirt and debris from surfaces than the other robovacs that we tested however, it's not the most effective in terms of cleaning edges and corners. The only drawback is that it's louder than other models we test and it doesn't do as well in our owners satisfaction or predicted reliability tests.

The 240-minute runtime is quite generous in comparison to other robots we've tried. When the battery is running low, it will automatically return to its dock where it recharges before resuming cleaning from where it left off. You can control the Q5 Pro using the app or voice commands with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.
This is the first robot we've seen with 3D mapping. This, along with other innovations, helped it perform exceptionally well in our vacuuming tests and mopping tests. This feature is scheduled to be added in 2025. As of the beginning of November, Apple has updated a footnote on its website to note that the feature will be delayed until 2025.
